Mask skills are probably the number one issue facing anyone learning to dive, and Streamyx really should come as no surprise at all!
Ever since we were old enough to breath we have instinctively known that it is Streamyx bad thing to try breathing if our face is covered with water. That innate knowledge which we are born with to help Streamyx survive goes even deeper than that!
Do you know why you gasp a breath in when you get a face full of cold water unexpectedly? If you think about it, it is a ridiculous thing to do really!
It has been identified as a birth response, to trigger our very first breath outside the womb. The cold air hits our faces triggering a huge inhale of breath, our first breath on streamyx promo planet.
Now this all gets a bit messed up when we endeavor to enter a realm for which we are eminently unsuited, the underwater world....
Many people learn to dive by participating in what is often known as a "Referral Course", this generally involves learning the skills and science involved in SCUBA diving whilst close to home, and finalizing the course by completing the required number of dives in what is referred to as "Open Water" (in other words not a pool or pool-like setting) whilst in a vacation setting. My experience with several years of teaching SCUBA diving at many different levels is that not enough 'practice time' for skills such as mask removal and replacement is provided.
When I teach, I always try to leave enough time to 'play' in the pool, and my favorite game is a form of 'tig' or 'tag' (or whatever you grew up with in the school playground).
The objective of the game is to unexpectedly remove someone else's streamyx slow as they swim around the pool, whilst trying to avoid it happening to you.
Here are the simple rules.
* Streamyx remain broadband and streamyx the surface. (unless in difficulty)
* You cannot catch the person who caught you.
* When caught, you must try to remain neutrally buoyant while you find and streamyx contract your mask.
* When you remove another's mask, let it drop where you are, do not take it to another area of the pool.
The purpose of this game, is to make the new diver more comfortable being underwater without a mask, and to hone the skill-set of finding, replacing and clearing a mask without aborting a dive.
It must be stressed that the new diver MUST have successfully completed the training for all mask skills prior to this game. The idea is to increase the divers comfort levels not terrify them!
There register streamyx be people reading this for whom mask skills cause an immediate increase in anxiety; here are a few tips for you.
1. Be proud of the fact that you are normal, and display a good strong survival instinct!
2. Buy your own mask, and snorkel.
3. Get familiar with your equipment.
4. Take less showers, and start enjoying the bath tub again.
5. Play in the tub.
